My background in medicine and clinical software solutions (Epic
and WORx) have provided the experience and expertise needed
to bring success to any Clinical Software project.
My career objectives have always been contributing to Patient
Safety, Bridging the gap between shortages in health care
personnel and expanding the clinical role of pharmacists through
the use of information technology.
I have spent the last 7 years developing my knowledge of clinical
software solutions. As a software consultant with a leader in
Clinical Software Solutions I became the product expert and
provided high level presentations to both the clinical and
executive decision makers within each organization. Aside from
my involvement with the sales team I gained valuable industry
knowledge of the many benefits available through strategic IT
solutions. Most importantly to me though is the fact that I very
quickly became firmly convinced of the value these solutions
bring to elevating patient safety in any practice setting.
Prior to my work as a Software Consultant I gained operational
experience in a multitude of pharmacy practices as a Pharmacist.
I truly feel comfortable knowing that I have experienced first hand
every method of pharmacy delivery in practice today. Of which my
role consisted as the Pharmacy Manager, Director of Pharmacy
or some other managerial role which ultimately lead to IT decision
committees. My involvement with these committees included
evaluating and ultimately purchasing and implementing new
pharmacy management software.
Today I feel at ease and quite confident dealing with the highest
level executives and clinicians in any organization. I have an
overwhelming desire to provide the highest level of customer
service and this I feel results in a very good winning combination.
